Hi
AUTOLOGIN
I have not done enough testing, so there were problems with the site for
quite a while today...
Autologin worked fine once the cookies were there, but if they were not,
the server reported an error (*).
Although I received a warning by a long time member, I did not have time
to fix the mistake quickly, and I could not reproduce it as I had set the
cookie... I am realy sorry!
Now it works, so you can set your cookie here:

Norton Ghost 2003
is what I was struggling with half the day today...
This software is supposed to create images of partitions. But it left
my computer unusable, as it created a DOS boot partition it was not able
to boot from. Did you make a similar experience with this software?
Then it claims to be able to create images on firewire harddisks, but on my
LaCie 200GB it does not see all the partitions, only the big NTFS one, not
the smaller FAT32 partition.
Just before I had to go to a customer this afternoon I managed to set it up
from floppies.
If you ever plan to try this piece of sh^h^h software, make sure you have a
plain DOS boot floppy with fdisk on it, as you'll have to delete the 15MB
DOS partition it creates and set your former boot partition back to active
to be able to boot your system again. Simple, once you know it - but this
information cannot be found on the symantec support pages...
Just wanted to write that I feel like bashing other software engineers for
making (stupid?) mistakes, when StarOffice crashed my KDE desktop...
I am just glad I used the simple joe editor, and that one created a backup
named DEADJOE of this file :-)
